Who we are

re-stream.pro is run by Big Small TV Ltd (company number 05808692, registered office Studio G, L and 33, Trinity Buoy Wharf, London E14 0FN). For your account and bookings we are the controller of your personal data under UK data protection law. Contact us about privacy at restreampro@bigsmall.tv.

What we collect and why

• Account details: your name, company, email address and a scrambled (hashed) version of your password, so that you can log in and we can run your bookings. Lawful basis: performing our contract with you.
• Bookings and payments: what you booked, when, the web address you chose, and payment records. Card payments are handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. Lawful basis: contract, and our legal duty to keep tax records.
• Usage and technical data: streaming hours used, which outputs were live, connection quality and the IP addresses of encoders and browsers that connect to your server, so that we can provide the service, show you your usage, keep it secure and fix problems. Lawful basis: contract and our legitimate interest in running a secure, reliable service.
• Emails: service emails about your bookings (confirmation, server ready, usage warnings, show reports you ask for). We do not send marketing unless you opt in. Lawful basis: contract.
• Your content: video, audio and media you send through re-stream.pro. We process it only to deliver it to the destinations you choose, on your behalf (you are the controller of any personal data in it).

Cookies

We use a single cookie to keep you logged in. It is strictly necessary for the service, so we don't ask for consent. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies.

Who we share data with

We use these providers to run re-stream.pro, under contracts that protect your data: Amazon Web Services (servers, storage and email, in the London region), Stripe (payments) and Amazon Route 53 (web addresses). We don't sell personal data. We may share data if required by law.

Where your data is kept

Your servers and our records are hosted in the UK (AWS London). Stripe may process payment data outside the UK under appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

• Your server, its settings, show reports and uploaded media: deleted 7 days after your booking ends.
• Account details: while your account is open; we delete them [12 months] after your last booking unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
• Booking and payment records: 6 years, as required for tax.
• Security logs: [90 days].

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your personal data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive it in a portable format. Email us at the address above. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
